Catherine Miller Designs was established in 1990 in Tempe, Arizona. In 1995 Catherine and her family decided to move to the picturesque hills and valleys of West Virgina where the beauty and variety of nature inspires her creations.
.Catherine's studio is located just off corridor H near the Hampton Inn at 7 Cloverleaf Lane in Buckhannon, WV. Studio Hours are by appointment , this insures quality time with the artist. Although Miller has lived in several parts of the country, she says she loves Buckhannon and plans to keep the studio there.
Catherine's studio features the artwork of many talented Glass Artisians. She uses her artistic ability to enhance each piece with her engraving . One may choose pieces of crystal and have them custom engraved by Catherine. Featured glass blowing artisans include:Cal Breed of Orbix Hot Glass, Steven Fenstermacher, Stuart Abelman, Lotton Studios, Tom Stoenner,and Celso Lopez, just to name a few.
The studio offers a variety of pieces from suncatchers to large and complex pieces such as bowls. Over the years Catherine's designs such as butterflies, hummingbirds, angels, and flowers has become favorite's among her clients.
Recently Catherine has had time to step back and reexamine her goals for the business itself. The future for Catherine Miller Designs is one of endless opportunities and success.
